HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – EOS Defense Systems USA (EOSDS USA), a company specializing in next-generation remote weapon systems, vehicle turrets and counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS), has been selected by the U.S. Air Force to compete for task orders alongside several other companies under an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to support its Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS). EOSDS USA will compete under a $950 million ceiling over a three-year period (with five optional years) for the maturation, demonstration and proliferation of capabilities across platforms and domains, leveraging open systems design, modern software and algorithm development.
This program is the Air Force’s contribution to the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Joint All Domain Command and Control Architecture (JADC2), which focuses on modernizing DoD decision-making processes for combat operations. This contract is part of a multiple award effort to provide development and operation of systems as a unified force across all domains to include air, land, sea, space, cyber, and electromagnetic spectrum.
“EOS Defense Systems USA is very pleased to have the opportunity to support this important program for the U.S. Air Force and DoD,” said retired Brig. Gen. Phil Coker, CEO of EOSDS USA. “This contract offers our team a potential to measurably contribute to the readiness of our country and our allies, and we are honored that the Air Force has selected EOS for this important work.”
EOSDS USA was selected to compete in the Effects Integration category for its full spectrum C-UAS capabilities. The award builds upon EOS’ proven track record of success in the development, installation and integration of networked systems and weapon systems including directional radio frequency (RF) jammers, kinetic energy solutions, various missile systems and directed energy platforms.
