Employees Recognized for Excellence

EOS Defense Systems USA (EOSDS USA) has had an action-packed couple of months including participation at the US Army’s Edge 22 Demonstration, Crew Served Weapon (CSW) Industry Demonstration, Michigan Defense Exposition (MDEX), Modern Day Marine (MDM), Special Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC), and a counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) demonstration in partnership with Northrop Grumman. The fun will continue into the fall, with the Aviation & Missile Technology Consortium Collaboration Event, AUSA Warfighter Summit, Space and Missile Defense Symposium, GVSETS, AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition and several other live fire events quickly approaching.

During a recent All Hands meeting, EOSDS USA employees were recognized for their hard work and accomplishments during this busy season. Keep reading to learn more about our employees’ success and celebrate with us.

Jacob Brown, Field Service Representative, received a Silver Award for his outstanding teamwork efforts. His exceptional performance was vital in the CSW Industry Demonstration live fire execution. He, along with the team, effectively demonstrated the precision of our RWS paired with various weapons and fired from multiple platforms.

Jake operated the R600 Missile Carrier mounted on the AMPV. This was the first time that the missile carrier configuration had been demonstrated in a live fire. His system knowledge and expertise as a gunner enabled EOS to demonstrate the RWS’s superiority.

Bill Cannon, Mechanist Technician, received a Bronze Award for his exceptional level of teamwork. In the weeks leading up to MDEX, CSW, MDM, and SOFIC, Bill was able to balance and execute on a tremendous amount of work for shows, live shoots and engineering requirements.

Without Bill’s efforts, much of what we’d aimed to accomplish would have never been realized. He is a credit to not only the engineering department, but the company as a whole. EOSDS USA’s program management and field service departments can rely on Bill to operate independently without concern that a task will be accomplished.

Matt Clark, Junior Program Manager, received a Silver Award for his excellence in representing EOSDS USA at the US Army’s Edge 22 Demonstration. His participation with industry partners proved successful at recent exhibitions, and his work at the Dugway Proving Ground was no exception. George consistently delivers tenacity and willingness in every task that he’s assigned. He is trusted to operate with minimal guidance on fabrication of parts for supporting shows, shoots and engineering needs for both production and R&D programs. His ability to shoulder excess burden is a credit to both himself and the team.
