EOS Defense Systems USA Contract to Supply RWS for Major Army Ground Combat Platform

EOS Defense Systems USA, Inc. (EOS) has been awarded a contract to deliver Remote Weapon Systems (RWS) to a major prime contractor for integration onto a U.S. Army ground combat vehicle.

The multi-year agreement with General Dynamics Land Systems includes RWS hardware, development, spare parts, and training. The initial award is for approximately US$22M and is expected to result in a signed contract before the end of the year. Work will occur over the next two to three years, with future production efforts expected to extend past 2030.

EOS will deliver an enhanced RWS, designed specifically to meet the Army’s operational requirements. Manufacturing will take place at EOS’ facility in Huntsville, Alabama, further establishing the company’s presence in the U.S. defense market.

“This award will have a significant impact on EOS’ operations in the U.S.” said Shawn Baerlocher, CEO of EOS. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to support a major prime and deliver this technology to the Army. Our products provide unmatched multi-mission capability which we are eager to get into the hands of the warfighter.”
